About Me

My name is Marissa and I have found joy in being healthy. I have tried many fad-diets and have lost and gained weight. I have binged on food and have been so dissappointed with myself when I have finished that binge. I have been pregnant and have struggled with the baby weight. I have been motivated and burned out. I have been through these struggles just like you. Before this blog I weighed 220. When I started this blog I had lost 35 pounds. I felt like I needed to share my journey with people because I found so much joy in overcoming my previous lifestyle. I constantly read and research about what is good for our bodies, how to work out, and what to eat. I love to Run and do Bikram yoga. I love life and I am glad that I have found happiness in becoming healthy. I am currently 159 and have lost 61 pounds! I have about 15 more pounds to go and I am going to get there no matter how hard I have to work!
